Hey everybody! So the short film / music video I directed for Pompeii by Bastille is in the running for the HollyShorts Film Festival. If we win, we’re screening it at the frickin’ Chinese Theater at Los Angeles, but we need to pull back into first place today. I need votes today, so please reblog and vote!
You can vote once a day, so please head over and help get us back into first place!
Just to make it fun, anyone who reblogs this is going to get entered into a giveaway for this LowePro Sling Bag.
Vote people! :)
When the scallop’s shell is gaped you can see two rows of tiny, bright blue eyes. These eyes aren’t the simple light sensitive eyes that most mollusks have, they can also sense motion. So a crab or fish trying to sneak up on one and grab some flesh before the shells close will be seen before it gets even close. And if the scallop loses an eye it simply regenerates a new one in its place.
